I finally figured out how to at least change the background of our family blog. Still haven't figured out how to put a cool heading on there, though. Working on that.
The weather since school got out has been very wet & rainy. We finally got our garden in about 2 weeks ago. Since the, it's rained almost every day, turning our garden into a mud hole. We weren't sure whether anything would even start growing, but Jeremy assured me that there's stuff starting to peek through, so that's good. One nice thing, our garden & lawn have gotten a very good watering over the last couple of weeks!
Considering all of the rainy weather, amazingly enough there's only been one cancellation for tball for Cole & Olivia. Cole is doing designated pitch this year again and Olivia is doing tball. They are both really enjoying it! Cole is getting to be really good at paying attention & getting after the ball.
The kids have also discovered that they really like playing frisbee. They are getting pretty good at catching it, too. Me, not so much. I just have never had any sort of coordination for sports. I spent many of my teen years in Young Women's totally humiliating myself by my lack of athletic-ness. I tend to shy away from sports. Luckily the kids do pretty well at sports, so good thing they inherited that from Jeremy & not my clumsiness at sports!
Parker started walking a week ago--hooray! He still crawls around a lot, but is finally taking steps. He just loves to play with his brothers & sister no matter what they are doing and especially loves to be outside.
Tanner continues to just be our little ham. He says the funniest things and talks so well--he is always making us laugh. He really love Thomas the Train right now, too. Almost everything he got for his birthday was Thomas the Train sets, tracks, etc. He will sit and play with his Thomas stuff for hours on end, every day of the week. Every time we go to the store, he wants to go check out the Thomas section to see what new stuff is out. He can identify MANY of the trains to our great surprise. We only have one Thomas dvd, but he knows a LOT of the names of them! He also likes to be outside & to be doing all of the things Cole & Olivia are doing. He definitely thinks he's as big as they are!
I will be posting pictures soon. I want to get a picture of the skirts I made for Olivia. I have been finding some really cute patterns for skirts online & have had my sister-in-law Sesha helping me out on making them (she knows more about sewing than I do). So we've made some cute skirts for the girls!

I don't know about knowing more than you do, but it sure was fun making them. Thanks for all the sewing links. When are we getting together again? The last weekend in June Miah is going on father/sons with his dad? Are you open that weekend?
Fun! I just found your blog! Keep posting!
